Collect sailing experience and build new skills by adding 300-400 miles to your logbook in this offshore mile building sailing adventure. Sail with us on our flagship – we promise you great sailing, new experiences and loads of fun!

Our mile building sailing programme will enable you to gain lots of sailing experience as sailing between 300-400 NM is planned. Our base is situated in the middle of the Adriatic coast which basically makes it the ideal starting point for mile builders. This favorable position enables us to choose the best route option depending on the wind. To make the most out of our mile builder in case of jugo we will sail towards the northern Adriatic and in case of bora we ll head to the south.

Up to 8 sailors will join our experienced skipper on this amazing journey. The team will learn how to take shifts, be on the watch, adjust and change the sails, follow and read the forecast, make strategic sailing decisions, plan passages and more, all while living on a boat underway, preparining meals and taking care of the boat.

Unlike in our RYA courses there is no fixed syllabus to go through and no certification/passing the course, just pure enjoyment in sailing and learning new skills. Despite that we will cover the basics of seamanship, the essentials of coastal navigation and pilotage, safety procedures and equipment,  chartwork and electronic charts, position fixing, passage planning, radar basics, weather forecasting and meteorology, collision regulations and more.

A great opportunity to accumulate sea miles, gain experience and knowledge, grow confidence and boost your existing skills under the supervision of an experienced skipper.

It will be exciting, adventourus, challenging and absolutely worth it!

The course starts on Saturday 17 h with meeting with the instructor and crew, boarding, getting to know the boat and grocery shopping. That way everything is ready for the sailing start on Sunday morning. We finish next Saturday in the morning hours. Returning to the base depends on weather conditions – planned on Friday evening or saturday night hours.

Besides sailing in the stunningly beautiful Adriatic, enjoying sunsets and an occasional sunrise we will visit some mythical places on Croatian islands to celebrate our sailing passage. Which exactly will remain a surprise for you discover.

Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 First Line – Pisces

Performance with style and luxury

Famous French shipyard Beneteau announced the Oceanis 51.1 as the first in a new generation of cruising yachts - spacious, elegant, cleverly designed, easy to handle, fast and comfortable. And they delivered big, as usual. From its introduction, the model collected appraisals all over the sailing community because of its innovative and bold design.

When Beneteau announced the model in 2018., we realised we wanted one in our fleet and acted fast. So one of the first yachts produced and delivered in Croatia was our Pisces. Since we love performance yachts, we opted for the 'First' line model.

Compared to the owner and charter versions, she has a higher mast, more sailarea and an longer performance keel. There are also four electrical winches compared to the usual hand-operated two. She has a fully battened main sail and a large genoa. An additional self tacking storm fock and a Code Zero sail that enhances her performance in light winds.

However, her sailing abilities don't overshadow all the comfort and luxury the yacht enables her crew. Its clever design makes her interior and cockpit space unparalleled in the class. That is the main reason we chose it for our Mile Building programs.

We're sure you'll enjoy both of her sides and quickly realise why she's the true queen of our fleet. In her almost 15 meters, there's enough room for four large double-bed cabins with en suite shower and toilette each. Additionally, there is a skipper cabin with a shower too. All wastewater goes to holding tanks.

Her kitchen is worthy of a true chef and a saloon the size of the living room, with a smart TV. Thanks to large windows, the interior is bathing in the sunlight. The cockpit offers many relaxation and sunbathing areas, including a large - remotely controlled - swimming platform and a wide teak cockpit table with an integrated fridge.

However, there are also white carbon steering wheels and performance electrical winches for a complete sailing experience. Three chart plotters - two outside and one inside - and navigation instruments, including three race instruments on the mast bracket, are the latest Garmin models. A radar enhances navigation safety.

With heating installed, a freshwater tank of 770 litres, a fuel tank of 400 litres, and a 110 horsepower engine, she'll be a pleasant and luxurious home, even on an extended offshore cruise.
